5. Delivery methodology

Engagements follow a ten-stage lifecycle: discovery call, requirement analysis, solution strategy, UI/UX design, development, testing and QA, security review, deployment, training and handover, then support and optimisation. Architecture always precedes build; security review always precedes deployment.

Delivery is incremental with working software demonstrated fortnightly. Each phase carries defined deliverables and acceptance criteria, with a five-business-day acceptance window. Scope changes are handled through written change orders stating cost and timeline impact before work proceeds.

Quality & warranty

Custom deliverables carry a 90-day conformance warranty from acceptance. Each engagement includes a post-launch support period of 30 to 90 days depending on engagement size, covering stabilisation as well as warranty defects.

Intellectual property

On receipt of all amounts due, intellectual property in custom deliverables transfers to the client, including source code, designs and documentation. Repositories and infrastructure account access are handed over. Cyntra retains ownership of pre-existing tools and general know-how, with a perpetual non-exclusive licence granted for any such component embedded in client deliverables.

7. Security & data handling

  • Encryption in transit and at rest across all client systems we operate.
  • Least-privilege, time-bound access; credentials held in a managed secret vault.
  • Production data is not used in development or test environments unless strictly necessary, and then only masked.
  • Multi-factor authentication enforced on all administrative systems.
  • Dependency and static analysis scanning in continuous integration.
  • Audit logging on sensitive record access and privileged actions.
  • NDAs executed before receiving client material; DPAs and BAAs where the data class requires them.
  • Card data never touches Cyntra infrastructure — all payment collection is via Stripe.
  • Subcontractors bound by equivalent confidentiality and security obligations.

8. Policy documents

All policies are publicly accessible and versioned. The version accepted at the time of an engagement is snapshotted against that engagement record.
